Golden Laurel Wedding Rapier [SHARP]
This rapier was commissioned as a wedding gift from a lady to her gentleman. The symmetrical hilt features a ring and two swept bars on each side, each one etched with a laurel leaf design. A monogram featuring the couples’ initials is etched on each side of the quillion block.
It’s mounted with a 38” sharp blade by Darkwood Armory. The ricasso of the blade is etched on one side with “AD INFINITUM” and on the other with their wedding date. The etched areas are darkened with bronze faux-gilding.
The grip is solid PETG covered in black leather and bound with brass wire.
The scabbard is black leather over a flexible core, and the gold-plated brass fittings feature a design inspired by classical architectural details and the first letter G of their last name.
