This rapier with was commissioned as a gift for presentation at an SCA Master of Defense elevation ceremony. Each side of the guard sports an etched panel gilded in brass. On one side is the owner’s coat of arms, and on the other is the 3 crossed blades of the SCA Order of Defense.
The hilt is blued steel. The spiral carved is grip is red leather over PETG with brass ferrules. The pommel is threaded 6mm.
It’s mounted with a 41” Castille rapier blade.
