This sword is based on the “Toledo Salamanca” sword from Highlander 1. It’s built using a rare vintage Marto cast brass hilt. The sharp blade was custom made by Darkwood Armory. The grip is faux ivory with brass ferrules, and the ricasso is wrapped in green velvet.
The customer who bought it requested some additional upgrades, so I found a jeweler who could put in the scores of cubic zirconia and synthetic rubies that adorn the film prop. Then the hilt was plated in gold.
