This rapier is based on the weapons attributed to the Munich Town Guard, of which there are many examples in museums and private collections around the world.
The blade is a sharp Hanwei/Tinker bastard blade with a modified ricasso. It’s robust but quite lightweight. The hilt is mild steel with a solid PETG grip wrapped in steel wire. The ovoid pommel is keyed to the tang and secures with a 6mm pommel nut.
