Stormlight Wedding Sidesword [SHARP]
This is a special project, commissioned by a bride to wear at her wedding. Her parter will be wearing a sword of her own, but someone else is responsible for that one.
It sports a wide sidesword blade mounted on a fully swept rapier hilt with a wheel pommel. The blade and pommel are etched with quotes from the Stormlight Archive series by Brandon Sanderson. The blade reads “Life Before Death” and “Strength Before Weakness”. “Journey Before Destination” wraps around the outside of the pommel.
The hilt furniture is blued steel with etched details picked out in silver faux-gilding. The grip is PETG wrapped in green leather. The blade is a sharp Kingston Arms sidesword blade. Scabbard is black leather over fiberglass with steel fittings. The green leather suspension straps rig to an etched belt-clip hanger intended to go through a special pocket in the wedding dress.
The hilt secures with a recessed hex nut capped with a faux-peen.
