Two-Port Cross Rapier 7 [HEMA]
Two-Port Cross Rapier 7 [HEMA]
This rapier has unusually long quillions (~10.5”) like some of the weapons described in Thibault’s treatise. There are two stacked rings on the outside of the guard. The upper ring is filled with a decorative pierced plate. The counterguard is composed of crossing swept bars, and the central port is also protected by a pierced plate. An extra bar joins the two arms of the guard at the top of the ricasso to prevent strikes to the long quillions from pulling things apart.
It’s mounted with a Sigi Medium Fancy rapier blade.
The hilt is mild steel. The grip is solid PETG covered in leather. Pommel is threaded 6mm.
