These Schiavonae were built as a matched pair, one sharp, one for HEMA, both with similar weight and balance characteristics. The sharp sword features a silver plated hilt and a double-fullered blade by Armour Class of Scotland. The grip is PETG covered in rayskin bound with nickel silver wire.
The HEMA sword has a less detailed hilt of the same design mounted with a short feder blade by Castille Armory which closely matches the feel of the sharp blade. The grip is PETG covered in black leather with nickel silver wire.
Both swords secure with 6mm pommel nuts and are accompanied by leather covered wood-core scabbards with steel furniture.
