Katzbalger/Schiavonesca (SHARP)

$0.00

This is a bit of a mashup between two types of late medieval shortswords — the crossguard is in a style associated with Schiavonescas, but the grip and handle are more reminiscent of a Katzbalger style sword with the pommel forming a portion of the grip. Its compact and lightweight and very sharp. The blade is a Kingston Arms katzbalger blade. It’s very nicely ground with no secondary bevel.

The grip is PETG wrapped in black and silver steel wire. The hilt secures with a 5mm recessed nut. The scabbard is a heavily modified from the original Kingston Arms version.

I’ve left the guard bright steel and blued the pommel. If you prefer a different color scheme, just let me know.

The stats are as follows:

Weight: 1.7 lbs
Overall Length: 31”
Blade Length: 25.5”
POB: +4.25” from base of blade
