This sword was commissioned for a wedding proposal. The etched and faux-gilded crossguard features a quote from Dante Alighieri’s Paradiso, "L'AMOR CHE MOUVE IL SOLE E L'ALTRE STELLE” which translates to “The love that moves the sun and the other stars.” The center recess of the pommel is also deeply etched and gilded.

The sharp hollow-ground blade is from a Kingston Arms Crecy, as is the wood core of the scabbard. Both scabbard and grip have been detailed with risers and covered with dark red-brown leather.
