This loop-hilt smallsword is currently mounted with a 31.5” colichemarde style blade. This is a very cool blade for reenactment (with a sharp tip) or stage combat (with a blunt tip). It’s too stiff for HEMA fencing.
The hilt is steel and secures with a steel pommel nut. The end of the knucklebow keys to a hole in the pommel. It weighs 1.08 lbs and is 38" long overall. The POB is 2.25" in front of the guard. The grip is PETG with steel, brass and copper wire.
The scabbard is 2 layers of leather over a wood back, so it’s semi-rigid but not completely stiff. Scabbard furniture is steel with a two ring suspension to go with the belt clip hanger.
