This is a bit of an unusual hilt....it's based on a cast brass Swedish military smallsword hilt, but simplified and also modified for use in rapier-style swordplay. The ricasso area is substantially elongated to enable a finger to fit over the quillions. The hilt and pommel are steel, and the grip is leather over PETG with twisted steel wire. The blade is a 30" customized Hanwei Practice Rapier blade with a shortened ricasso. Weight is 1.6 lbs and the POB is 2" in front of the guard.
