This hilt is based on a Swedish military hilt, but simplified and modified to function as a smallsword. The ricasso area is substantially elongated to enable a finger to fit over the quillions. The hilt and pommel are brass plated steel, and the grip is blue leather over PETG with twisted brass wire. The blade is a Castille colichemarde blade for HEMA.
