This spadroon was inspired by the sword Elena (Catherine Zeta Jones) fights with in the movie The Mask of Zorro. It’s not an exact replica and has some different details than the film sword.

The blade is from a Hanwei Practical Mortuary sword, and is fairly stiff with a bit of flex. It would also be suitable for Stage Combat.

The hilt is steel. The shell hilt is made of a 13 ga. steel. The pommel is threaded 6mm. The grip is solid PETG wrapped in black leather with steel wire.
