This cutlass/hanger has a Mortuary style hilt purloined from a Hanwei Practical Mortuarty Sword. The blade is 1/4” 7075-T651 aluminum with a blunt stage edge.
The hilt is stainless steel and secures with a 6mm nut which locks onto a pinned steel tang. For more information on this attachment method, CLICK HERE.
The blade is 25", and the sword is 31.5" long overall. Weight is 1.75 lbs and the POB is +1.5" in front of the hilt.
The scabbard is heavy leather with decorative tooling and nickel silver fittings.
