This cutlass/hanger has an elaborate basket hilt purloined from a Cold Steel English Backsword. The blade is 7075-T651 aluminum with a blunt stage edge. The wide fuller and hollow ground edge makes for a very lightweight blade.
The grip is solid PETG covered in blue leather and bound with steel wire.
The hilt is steel and secures with a recessed pommel nut which locks onto a pinned steel tang. For more information on this attachment method, CLICK HERE.
The blade is 24.75", and the sword is 31.5" long overall. Weight is 2.2 lbs and the POB is +0" in front of the hilt.
Comes with a tooled leather scabbard with nickel-silver fittings.
