This leaf blade is hollow ground from 7075-T651 aluminum.  It has stainless steel hilt furniture (by Mike Jia) and a leather covered hardwood grip with a spiral wire wrap.  The hilt assembly is secured with a 6mm recessed allen nut that attaches to a steel threaded rod imbedded in the aluminum tang.  For more information on this attachment method, CLICK HERE.

This blade feels super light even for aluminum, and is easy to handle in one hand or two.  Despite the hollow grind the edge is quite thick and durable, and the spine remains a rigid 1/4” thick over almost the whole length.   Stats below:
