Stargate Rapier [SHARP]
This intricately decorated rapier is the bride’s half of a pair of wedding swords. The primary theme is galactic navigation a la the Stargate film and television franchise, but we’ve incorporated a copy of the dial of a real astrolabe into the design.
The side ring and quillions are etched with Stargate symbology, as is the hollow ring pommel. The whole hilt is blued steel with the etching areas filled with faux gilding. The grip is leather over PETG bound with brass wire and brass ferrules.
The blade of the sword (by Darkwood Armory) is etched with the Stargate address for planet Earth and a personal sigil designed by the couple to represent their union.
The scabbard is green leather over a flexible core with brass fittings.
